Unfortunately Redding doesn't have a great selection of hockey gear. You may be able to find skates and pieces at places like:

  • Big 5

  • Dick's Sporting Goods

However if you are looking to fully outfit your player we recommend visiting one of the following websites:

At What Age Can Kids Start Hockey?

We recommend as young as age 5. Though it is never too early to start skating. The best thing you can do for your kids is to allow them to learn to skate as early as possible.

Can I Rent or Borrow Gear?

Yes SRHL provides a seasonal rental service that all families can utilize.
